Juv gull ID


Found this gull yesterday at Porthcawl and starting to think Lesser Black Backed Gull . What are your thought boys and yes not a big fan of juv Gulls

    I'd suggest 1st winter/2cy Herring Gull - the mantle pattern looks more like that. A side on shot could firm up id. A massive bill though - probably a male looking at that

    Hi Martin on facebook uk gulls 4 beginners and they said first year winter great black backed gull so god knows and i think i better stop looking at gulls and stick to coot.
