Mr Bevan of somewhere north of Cardiff, said "I'm disgusted that there are no police available to look into it, so I'm having to do it myself. Is this what I pay my taxes for?" A spokesman for South Wales Constabulary commented that he was unable to comment.

ReplyDeleteI think you left out 'hole in' somewhere in that sentence Hill. Haven't been to Flat Holm for years. I with several others was invited to attend the Holm for interview many many years ago. Beside the normal interview, you had to make a presentation, attend a sit down evening meal so they could check out your behavior. It was not long after that I decided to become a 'relief barman', money not so good but some of the interviews have been mega, from what I can remember.
