More local (yawn) stuff

Quiet week at Rhaslas with just a slow trickle of passage birds; oystercatcher[1], redshank[2], dunlin[2] little ringed plover[3 ad, 1juv], common sandpiper[highest count 6 - sp present on all visits], also small numbers of mixed aged black headed gull on most visits. A single juv white wagtail noted once foraging with the usual mixed age pied[6]. Another dead bream, but no dead small fry so probably due to lack of oxygen. Thistle inverts included Tachina grossa and what appears to be an Eristalis species possibly E. rupium but don't quote me. Only thing new in the garden was a single Bryotropha domestica although does not appear to have been previously recorded in the square, oh hum.
