Rhaslas

I called in briefly this morning 08:00 hours; noted greenshank[2] feeding on southeast bank, took the sheep track below south dam and managed to get a record shot without flushing. Birds still loafing when I left, also present a single dunlin and the drake scaup. Slow trickle of single swallow, most wheatear appear to have moved through. Working the rest of the day, see you.

  2. Quiet at the moment, what we need is a north wind, heavy rain and/or thick fog that starts in the early hours after a pleasant day. Mind you its not what the birds need. If you are out and about keep a look out for my camera lens hood. I've looked in all the usual places but I appear to have dropped it around Rhaslas. Always welcome, see you.

  4. Neither, and I've noted your comments for future reference. I found it this a.m. sitting on top of the rushes west of the pool. Now I've got two of them. So anyone looking for an unopened canon lens hood ET 83D please contact. Ho hum, just CS[4], DN[1] & SP appears to have left.
