Mart, Are they sparrow shots of the same bird? Looking at them it might be two different birds. My gut reaction was a Spizella Sparrow (for both).
Taking the top bird, we have pale lores and pale supercillium, broadening behind the eye, I suggest make this a Cley-clored Sparrow The breast / undersides looked bleached out by bright sunlight/overexposure on the photo, but appear unstreaked. The third Sparrow (in the chain link fence) I think is the same species but the faint streaking on the flanks suggest it's a first winter bird.
