Rhaslas

Called in late morning to a busy Rhaslas; rowing boat being dragged along south dam by non speaking wet young couple, motor bikes and the local walking group eating their sandwiches. A single common tern was the first bird of note being occasionally flushed by the LB's then returning to roost at west point. While trying to get a pic DN[6] and a single, almost summer plumaged. sanderling flew in and almost immediately left never to be seen again. As well as the usual suspects a single female shoveler was also present. Note the UK Parliament constituency of Merthyr Tydfil & Rhymney had the lowest voter turnout in Wales, 47% just couldn't be bothered.
