Rhaslas

Common tern[3] this a.m. in the rain, distant record shot of one of the birds flying in front of the inner face of north dam, just east of the blue sunbed and aluminium ladder.

  1. You keep pulling these decent birds out of the bag. Just reward for the hours looking at gulls (a reward in itself?) and mipits.

  2. Its been a good day Martin, I managed to call in at Llwyn-onn at 14:00 and at last got on to the green sand that's been hanging about for about 2 weeks, hopefully it will overwinter. Its using the river from Garw Nant bridge down stream into the reservoir and sometimes the isolated pool in front of bird hide. Also tonight at Rhaslas; shoveler[10], and singles of curlew and snipe.
