One More Thing

While wandering about on Saturday night, amongst other things I came across, was this fearsome looking beastie. It's hard to believe that from this larva will emerge a Common Green Lacewing, which seems such a delicate and gentle insect.

    It is and although that one hadn't done it; apparently, they often stick the empty skins of their aphid victims on their backs.
