Exploring the north of Glamorgan
Great find mike and there some at Garwnant too by the old building too the north and so about 6 with chaffinchs
Someone regularly puts down bird seed at the car park so its always worth a stop. Have you been getting willow tit near the giant chair this autumn or along the back road at Llwyn-onn or is it my ears?
no not heard or seen any in other place and res very quiet and just 1 tufted and little great crested grebe and i stop by the pond by resolven and there one drake pohard on there so maybe the llwyn on bird coming back
I've had a single male pochard at Talybont reservoir, but all the water bodies appear to be quiet with just a report of ringtail at Usk reservoir. I asked about the willow tit because I didn't have them in usual breeding area on the east bank this year.
no sight or sound of Willow Tits at Garwnant on Saturday (or Brambling)
i had three at bryn du so breeding somewhere over there and when walked up road where you come out and throw green gate and chaffinch all the way along and brambling in the flock and big numbers of fieldfare near the quarry in penderyn and redwing .
