After three trips out with Rob Gaze lately and each trip comprising of dipping our target bird (Osprey and Ring-Necked Duck) and even dipping a Humpback Whale in Devon I went down to Cardiff this afternoon and found the Ring-Necked Duck straight away. I wondered if anyone else thinks that Rob may be a jinx !!!
The R N Duck was feeding amongst some Tufties and Great Crested Grebes but a little too far out for photos which was a pity as the light was quite good.
Glad you got it and i was starting to think your new theme was dip a dee doo dah.
