Back to Robertstown

Back to Robertstown today on a high after my moth yesterday. Started checking Fox Gloves, have been doing it now for the last two years hoping to find another Bee Beetle. In the same area as two years ago I found one, it was brilliant to see one again, also found my first Small Skipper of the year and there was lots of Large Skippers on the wing.

    You swine! I saw my one and only Bee Beetle years ago, when I didn't have a camera with me and I've been looking for them ever since, without luck!!!

    I was thinking on similar lines to Mark's opener as I've never seen a Bee Beetle

    No sign last night of the beetle and so a possible humming bird hawkmoth .
