I've just been out to read the rain gauge and as I suspected I might, I could hear churring coming down the hill slope from the recent clear fell area above me. While undoubtedly a welcome and somewhat privileged experience, does it count as a garden tick, I wonder?
If you count fly over's and anything else seen whilst in your garden, then Yes. And a dammed good one as well!
ReplyDeleteIt's all down to conscience really, I suppose, but I had forgotten that I already ticked a male heard several years ago, churring from the bracken much lower down the hill and closer. I can't believe I had forgotten that!
